嘷哭（上號高反說文云噑咆也從口皐聲皐字從白[(犀-尸)-牛+十]聲[(犀-尸)-牛+十]音滔經本作[囉-維+(((嘹-口)-小)-日+干)]俗字也）。

嘷哭 ("wailing and weeping"; the former character, fanqie: 號 + 高. The Shuowen says: "Hao (噑) means roaring or howling; it takes 口 as semantic and 皐 as phonetic." The character 皐 takes 白 and the sound [(犀-尸)-牛+十]; [(犀-尸)-牛+十] is pronounced 滔. In the sūtra text it is written as [囉-維+(((嘹-口)-小)-日+干)], a vulgar character).
