光瑩（鄭箋詩曰光榮也切韵稱瑩飾也言以名花妙寶瑩飾於佛座也又案說文字統瑩又作鎣訓與瑩同然別有音余傾反訓為光飾之義近代以來碩學絕嗣聲義渾雜濫以營音之訓安瑩聲之下）。

Lustrous and adorned (Zheng's commentary on the Shijing says: '光 means glorious.' The Qieyun states that 瑩 means adorned. It means adorning the Buddha's seat with famous flowers and wondrous jewels. Furthermore, examining the Shuowen and Zitong, 瑩 is also written as 鎣, with the same gloss as 瑩; however, there is a separate reading 余傾 [qīng] with the meaning of luminous ornamentation. In recent times, great scholars have lacked successors, sounds and meanings have become confused, and the gloss of the sound yíng [營] has been improperly placed under the sound yíng [瑩]).
