混太空（混胡本反按說文混謂混沌陰陽未分共同一氣之皃今此謂花嚴法門量同大虛也字又作渾也）。

Merging with great space (混太空: 混 has húběn fanqie [hùn]. According to the *Shuowen*, 混 refers to chaos (*hundun*), the state before yin and yang have separated and both share a single pneuma. Here it means the teaching of the *Avataṃsaka* has a capacity equal to the great void. The character is also written 渾).
