妓樂（妓渠倚反切韻稱妓女樂也埤蒼曰妓美女也因以美女為樂謂之妓樂也經本有從扌邊作支者此乃技藝字也或有從立人作者音章㑥反害也非此經意也）。

Female performers and music (*ji yue*; *ji* has the *fanqie* onset *qu* and rhyme *yi*; the *Qieyun* states: "*Ji* means female musicians." The *Picang* states: "*Ji* means beautiful women; deriving musical entertainment from beautiful women is called *jiyue*." Some editions write the character with the hand radical next to *zhi*, but that character means skills or crafts. Others write it with the standing person radical, pronounced with the *fanqie* onset *zhang* and rhyme *yi*, meaning harm, which is not the intent of this sūtra).
