光茂（莫搆反爾雅云木如松柏曰茂郭璞注云謂枝葉婆娑也漢書音義曰茂美盛者也）。

Lustrous and luxuriant (茂 is pronounced 莫搆. The *Erya* says: "Trees like pines and cypresses are called *mao*." Guo Pu's commentary says: "It refers to branches and leaves swaying gracefully." The commentary on sounds and meanings in the *Hanshu* says: "*Mao* means fine and flourishing").
