疏勒國（正云佉路數怛勒古來此方存略呼為疏勒人又訛數音為疏然此名乃是彼國一山之號因立其稱又或翻為惡性國以其國人性多獷戾故也）。

Kingdom of Kashgar (properly called Kharostra; anciently this region abbreviated it and called it Shule, and people also mistakenly pronounced shu as shu. However, this name is the designation of a mountain in that kingdom, after which it was named; or it is translated as “Kingdom of Wicked Natures,” because the character of the people of that kingdom is mostly wild and recalcitrant).
