"The night goddess Vāsanavanti" (In full, it is Vasantavantī. Saying vasanta is translated here as "spring"; vantī is "in charge of." It means that in the spring season, this deity is in charge of protecting sentient beings and all crops. Or it is said to be Varavasana, here translated as "refuge of fearlessness," meaning acting as a refuge for sentient beings to make them free from fear. Furthermore, the Central Indian manuscript has Vasanta, here translated as "spring arising," referring to the ability to bring forth the wholesome in beings; hence it is named metaphorically).
