不藉耕耘而生稻梁（耘于君反梁呂羊反毛詩傳曰耘除草也說文曰梁米名也耘字經本作芸者乃是芸臺菜字非此所用梁字或亦從禾也）。

不藉耕耘而生稻梁 [Without relying on plowing and weeding, paddy and fine grain grow] (耘 is pronounced [in fanqie] 于君; 梁 is pronounced [in fanqie] 呂羊. The Mao Commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: "耘 means removing weeds (除草)." The Shuowen says: "梁 is the name of a fine grain (米)." In some copies of the sūtra, 耘 is written as 芸, which is the character for rue-herb (芸臺菜) and not what is used here. 梁 is also sometimes written with the grain radical [禾]).
