瓦礫荊棘株杌（礫零擊反說文曰小石曰礫也荊棘草穢通語也說文曰株樹根也杌謂𭃞去枝柯者也）。

Rubble, gravel, thorns, brambles, stumps, and lopped trees (*li* [gravel] is pronounced with the fanqie *ling* + *ji*. The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "Small stones are called *li*." Thorns and brambles are general terms for tangled weeds. The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "*Zhu* [stump] is a tree root." *Wu* refers to trees stripped of their boughs and branches).
