畢洛叉樹（或曰畢利叉此云高顯謂佛於下降誕則謂高勝名顯人天故日高顯也或有處云佛於阿戍迦樹下生者也）。

Plakṣa tree (also written as *pilicha* [vṛkṣa]; translated here as "tall and conspicuous," meaning that because the Buddha descended and was born beneath it, he was supremely eminent and renowned among gods and humans, hence called "tall and conspicuous." In some places it is said that the Buddha was born under an aśoka tree).
