加被（被皮義反杜注左傳曰加益也孔安注書曰被及也謂以益相及也又珠叢曰從加恩謂之被也）。

Empowerment 加被 (被, fanqie: 皮義 [bèi]; Du [Yu]'s commentary on the Zuozhuan says: "加 means to add/increase"; Kong An[guo]'s commentary on the Shangshu says: "被 means to reach"; this means to reach one another with benefit; furthermore, the Zhucong says: "Receiving bestowed grace is called 被").
