如虹蜺色（虹古巷胡公二反蜺研奚反蔡雍月令曰虹螮蝀也謂陰陽交接之氣而著之形色雄者曰虹雌者蜺也）。

Like the colours of a rainbow (如虹蜺色: 虹 has the two pronunciations 古 + 巷 and 胡 + 公 fanqie. 蜺 is read 研 + 奚 fanqie. Cai Yong's Yueling says: '虹 is the didong (rainbow); it refers to the vapour of the junction of yin and yang taking visible form and colour. The male is called hong (虹), and the female is ni (蜺).').
