洞然（洞徒弄反韻圃稱洞徹也謂通徹火然之狀也字或冝作烔烔音徒東韓詩傳曰烔謂燒草傳火焰盛也）。

"Blazing brilliantly" (Penetratingly [洞] is dòng [tú + nòng fanqie]. The Yunpu states: "洞 means piercing through." It refers to the appearance of blazing fire piercing through. The character should perhaps properly be written 烔; 烔 is pronounced tóng [tú + dōng fanqie]. The commentary on the Han Songs says: "烔 refers to burning grass, where the flame is fierce").
