𰆪蠱（上伊琰反王逸註楚辭云厭著也蒼頡篇謂伏人心也說文從厂𤡜聲蠱音古杜註左傳云蠱謂惑疾也說文從蟲從皿皿者物之內也亦聲也厂音罕𤡜音一𧰚反從甘從月從犬也）。

Nightmare sorcery and poison (𰆪蠱) (The upper character has the fanqie Yi + Yan [yǎn]. Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci states: "𰆪 means to afflict with nightmares." The Cangjie pian states: "It means subduing people's hearts." The Shuowen states: "Derived from the cliff radical 厂 with 𤡜 phonetic." 蠱 has the sound gu [gǔ]. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan states: "蠱 refers to diseases caused by bewitchment." The Shuowen states: "Derived from 蟲 [insects] in a 皿 [vessel]; a vessel contains things inside; it is also phonetic." 厂 has the sound han [hǎn]; 𤡜 has the fanqie Yi + Zhi [yè], and is composed of 甘 [sweet], 月 [moon/flesh], and 犬 [dog]").
