其杪（彌小反方言杪木末枝也孔注尚書杪杪微細也文字典說木少聲）。

Its tip (the second character is *mi* + *xiao* [miǎo]. The Fangyan says: "*Miao* is the terminal branch of a tree." Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: "*Miaomiao* means tiny and minute." The Wenzi dianshuo gives it under 'tree' [木] with *shao* [少] phonetic).
