闌楯（上音蘭下音順義與軒檻同前第一卷中已釋訖經從木作欄木名也非經義）。

Balustrades and railings (the first character is pronounced *lan* [lán]; the second is pronounced *shun* [shùn]. The meaning is the same as balustrades and railings [xuanjian]; it was already explained above in Fascicle One. When the sūtra writes it under 'wood' as 欄, that is the name of a tree, not the meaning intended in the sūtra).
