Yingming 嫈嫇 (The first character has the fanqie e + jing [yīng]; the second has the fanqie mai + geng [míng]. The Kaosheng says: 'Yingming is the coquettish manner of women in the low lanes. Mingming also means the appearance of petty persons.' The Shuowen says: 'Ying means the manner of being petty and careful; it takes "woman" [女] and the abbreviated yíng [熒]. Ming takes "woman" [女] and ming [冥] as phonetic.')
