淤泥（上於據反顧野王曰淤水中泥也說文澱澤也從水於聲經作淤俗字也）。

Yuni 淤泥 (The first character has the fanqie yu + ju [yū]. Gu Yewang says: 'Yu is mud in water.' The Shuowen says: 'Sediment in a pool; it takes "water" [水] and yū [於] as phonetic.' In the sūtra text it is written as the popular character yū 淤).
