頑嚚（上瓦開反下魚斤反廣雅頑鈍也考聲愚也左傳曰心不則德義之經為頑口不道忠信之言為嚚蒼頡篇嚚惡也說文從頁元聲嚚從㗊臣聲頁音頡㗊音㽵立反）。

Wányín 頑嚚 (The upper character is fanqie 瓦開 [wǎi]. The lower character is fanqie 魚斤 [yín]. The Guangya says wán 頑 means 'blunt'. The Kaosheng says 'stupid'. The Zuo zhuan says: 'A heart that does not follow the norms of virtue and righteousness is wán; a mouth that speaks no words of loyalty and trustworthiness is yín.' The Cangjie pian says yín means 'wicked'. The Shuowen jiezi says wán has radical yè 頁 and yuán 元 phonetic; yín has radical jǐ 㗊 and chén 臣 phonetic. Yè is pronounced xié 頡; jǐ 㗊 is fanqie 㽵立 [zhī]').
