月蝕（音食易云日中則吳月盈則蝕劉熈釋名云日月虧日蝕稍稍侵虧如蟲食草木葉也）。

月蝕 (lunar eclipse: 蝕 is pronounced 食. The *Book of Changes* says: 'When the sun reaches the meridian it declines; when the moon waxes to full it wanes [eclipses].' Liu Xi's *Shiming* says: 'When the sun and moon diminish, it is called an eclipse; it gradually encroaches and diminishes, like an insect eating the leaves of grass and trees').
