Teasing and jesting (The first character [cháo, 嘲] has the fanqie zhu + jiao; it is also written zhōu [啁] with the same meaning. The Cang Jie pian says: zhōu also means to jest, meaning to tease and mock one another. In some sūtra texts it is written yì [讛], traditionally pronounced yì, though its provenance is unclear. Or it is written nǐ [譺], with the fanqie wu + jie; the Zilin says: to deceive and tease; also, great mocking is called nǐ).
