閉氣不喘（閉音篳謎反考聲云掩也藏也因也謂菩薩施身示為死想令無殺罪）。
閉氣不喘 (holding the breath and not panting: 閉 has the fanqie 篳謎 [bì]. The Kaosheng says it means to conceal, to hide, or to base upon. It refers to the Bodhisattva offering his body and showing the appearance of death so that [the tiger] would incur no sin of killing).
