瞿陀身（古音云此名鯪魚鯪力承反玉篇云鯪魚鯉也有四足出於南方謂菩薩潛形利物作異色魚身正定形貌也）。

瞿陀身 (body of a godhā: The ancient pronunciation gloss says this is named a pangolin [鯪魚]. 鯪 has the fanqie 力承 [líng]. The Yupian says that the 鯪魚 is the scaly pangolin, having four feet and coming from the south. It refers to the Bodhisattva concealing his form to benefit beings by assuming the body of a varicolored fish; this is the proper determination of its appearance).
