Sandalwood (zhantan): (Candana refers to ox-head candana and the like. The red kind belongs to the category of purple sandalwood; the white refers to white sandalwood. In antiquity it was written as zhandan [旃丹]; the Qieyun writes 𱣔, which is incorrect).
