矜高（上居陵反尚書云汝惟弗矜天下莫與汝爭能孔安國云自賢曰矜禮記孔子不矜而莊鄭玄云矜謂自尊大也）。

Boastful and arrogant (矜高): The upper character is juling [fanqie]. The Shangshu says: "Only when you are not boastful (jin) will none in the realm contend with you for merit." Kong Anguo says: "Deeming oneself worthy is called jin." The Liji says: "Confucius was not boastful but dignified." Zheng Xuan says: "Jin means holding oneself high and mighty."
