覆苫（字林舒鹽反茅苫也尒雅白葢謂之苫李巡云白葢編之以覆屋曰苫）。

覆苫 (*fu shan* [cover with thatch]: for 苫, *Zilin* [gives the fanqie] *shu* + *yan*; thatch matting; *Erya*: "a white canopy is called *shan*"; Li Xun says: "weaving white rushes together to cover a roof is called *shan*").
