蜈蚣（音吳公字林螂蛆也甚能制蛇大長者尺餘赤足者為良黃足者不堪用人多炙之令赤非真也螂音即亦子結反蛆子餘反）。

蜈蚣 (*wu gong* [centipede]: pronounced *wu* and *gong*; *Zilin*: "the *langju*; it is very capable of subduing snakes; the large, long ones are over a foot; those with red legs are considered good quality, while those with yellow legs cannot be used; people often roast them to make them red, which is not genuine"; 螂 is pronounced *ji*, or also *zi* + *jie* fanqie; 蛆 is *zi* + *yu* fanqie).
