梨黮（上力脂反方言面色似凍梨切韻梨斑駁色有作黧字林力奚反黑黃也通俗文班黑曰黧玉篇老也有作𪏭下說文杜感反與潭同切韻黔黮色又脫感反桑葚之色葚食朕反有作於斬反青黑色借音耳彼作黤也）。

梨黮 (Sallow and dark; the upper character has the fanqie lì-zhī [lí]. The Fangyan says: "Facial complexion resembling a frozen pear." The Qieyun says: "Pears have a mottled, variegated colour." Some write 黧; the Zilin gives the fanqie lì-xī [lí], meaning dark yellowish. The Tongsuwen says: "Mottled black is called lí." The Yupian says: "Aged." Some write 𪏭. For the lower character, the Shuowen gives the fanqie dù-gǎn [dǎn], identical with 潭. The Qieyun says: "A dark and blackish colour." Another reading is tuō-gǎn fanqie, the colour of mulberries (shèn, read shí-zhèn fanqie). Some write with the fanqie yú-zhǎn [yǎn], meaning bluish-black; this is merely a borrowed sound, as they properly write 黤).
