卉木（上暉謂反尒雅卉草也郭璞曰百草之總名也方言卉眾也東越吳楊之間名草曰卉說文從三屮屮音丑列反）。

Plants and trees (卉木: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 暉謂 [huì]. The Erya says: *hui* means herbs. Guo Pu says: it is the collective name for all grasses. The Fangyan says: *hui* means many; between Eastern Yue, Wu, and Yang, grass is called *hui*. The Shuowen says: derived from three 屮; 屮 is pronounced with the fanqie 丑列 [chè]).
