諷誦（上風鳳反詠讀為諷也背文曰誦也周禮教國子無道諷誦鄭玄背文曰諷以聲節之曰誦）。

諷誦 (First character: fanqie [f- + f- = fèng]; chanting aloud while reading is called 諷 [fèng]; reciting from memory is called 誦 [sòng]; the Zhouli says: "Instruct the sons of state with the Path, through recitation and chanting (諷誦)"; Zheng Xuan says: "Reciting without the text is 諷; modulating it with rhythm and tone is 誦").
