祝詛（上之授反說文作祝亦祖也今皆作呪下側據反古文詛繹名云祝屬也以善惡之辭相屬暑也詛謂使人行事阻限於言有作咀才與反咀嚼也非此中義其訓切韻市流反以言答也）。

Incantations and curses (first character fanqie: 之授; Shuowen jiezi writes it as 祝, also meaning prayer; nowadays all write 呪; second character fanqie: 側據; ancient script has 詛; Shiming says: zhù means to attach; using words of good or ill to attach to another; zǔ means causing someone's actions to be hindered and bound by words; some write 咀 with fanqie 才與, which means chewing and is not the meaning here; its gloss in Qieyun has fanqie 市流, meaning to answer with words).
