Like white conch (如珂): The fanqie is 苦何 [kē]. A type of conch shell produced in the sea, pure white as snow. Some write it as 軻, with the fanqie 口佐 [kě]. The Shuowen says: 'Connecting axles.' In 轗軻 [kǎnkě], it means encountering misfortune, which is not the meaning of this character. 轗 has the fanqie 口紺 [kǎn].
