繚戾（上力小反說文力鳥反繚繞也繚纏也謂纏繞切韻唯有了達蓼菜目睛明瞭長[髟/大/日/小]𩯘四字之外更無了音之字繚字有二力小力召反一繚繞二繚炙繚炙或作繚戾魯帝反也）。

Entangled (繚戾): For the upper [character], the fanqie is 力小 [liǎo]. The Shuowen gives the fanqie 力鳥 [liǎo]. 繚 means 'to coil'; 繚 means 'to entangle'; that is to say, coiled and entangled. In the Qieyun, apart from the four characters 了 [clear], 蓼 [smartweed], 瞭 [bright-eyed], and 𩯘 [long-haired], there are no other characters pronounced with the sound 了 [liǎo]. The character 繚 has two pronunciations: the fanqie 力小 [liǎo] and the fanqie 力召 [liào]. One means 'to wind around', and the other means 'to broil/sear'. 繚炙 [liàozhì] is sometimes written as 繚戾, where [戾] has the fanqie 魯帝 [lì].
