27.8

序（音徐呂反序由致也庠序也詮序也玉篇云東西堂曰序敘尊卑之處也序亦舒學也教有序序長幼也從广從予）。

序 (Pronounced with the fanqie 徐呂 [xù]. Xù means the origin and purpose; local schools (xiángxù); or to arrange and set in order. The Yupian says: "The east and west halls are called xù, the place for arranging the honorable and the lowly." Xù also means extending education; teaching with proper order; and ordering elders and youth. It is derived from 广 with 予 phonetic).
