聾劓（上祿東反蒼頡篇云聾謂耳不聞也說文云無聞也從耳龍聲下疑器反孔注尚書云劓割也鄭注周禮云截其鼻也說文云決鼻者也從刀鼻聲或作㓷也）。

Longyi 聾劓 (the first character fanqie 祿東; the Cangjie pian says: "Long 聾 means the ears cannot hear"; the Shuowen says: "Having no hearing; it has the ear radical with long 龍 as phonetic"; the second character fanqie 疑器; Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: "Yi 劓 means to cut"; Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli says: "Amputating their nose"; the Shuowen says: "Severing the nose; it has the knife radical with bi 鼻 as phonetic; it is also written as 㓷").
