Threshold (門閫; [閫 is] fanqie 苦本; Zheng's commentary on the *Liji* states: "*Kun* is the door threshold." The *Shuowen* states: "A door sill; it takes the *men* radical and is phonetic in *kun*; it is also written as 梱").
