崖底（上雅隹反考聲云崖山澗邊險岸也說苑高山有崖也說文云崖高邊也從屵圭聲屵音五割反下丁禮反淮南子云上窮至高之末下測至深之底也說文從广氐聲广音魚歛反底音丁奚反）。

Base of the cliff (崖底; the upper character is fanqie 雅隹; the *Kaosheng* states: "*Yai* means a precipitous bank beside a mountain ravine." The *Shuoyuan* states: "High mountains have cliffs." The *Shuowen* states: "*Yai* is a high edge; from cliff, phonetic in *gui*; cliff is fanqie 五割. The lower character is fanqie 丁禮; the *Huainanzi* states: "Above it reaches the extremity of the highest; below it plumbs the base of the deepest." The *Shuowen* states: "From shelter, phonetic in *di*; shelter is fanqie 魚歛; *di* is fanqie 丁奚").
