葺茅（上侵入反考聲云茅草覆屋也從草咠聲咠音同上下卯包反說文草名也從草矛聲也）。

葺茅 (*qìmáo*, thatching with reed; the upper character has the fanqie 侵入 [*qīn* + *rù*]. The *Kaosheng* says: "Covering a roof with cogon grass; it is composed of grass with 咠 as phonetic." 咠 is pronounced the same as above. The lower character has the fanqie 卯包 [*mǎo* + *bāo*]. The *Shuowen* says: "The name of a grass; it is composed of grass with 矛 as phonetic").
