老耄（下毛報反鄭注禮記云耄惛忘也古文從蒿作𧂕古今正字從老毛聲字書有作[老/鬼]俗字也）。

Aged and senile (老耄: for the lower character, *máo* - *bào* fanqie [*mào*]. Zheng's commentary on the *Liji* says: "*Mào* means muddled and forgetful." The ancient script takes the radical 蒿 as 𧂕. The *Gu-jin zhengzi* states that it takes the radical 老 'old' with 毛 *máo* phonetic. Lexicons sometimes write it as [老/鬼], which is a vulgar character).
