寶椷（音咸廣雅篋謂之椷形如小匱子從木咸聲經文作函古字書謬函非正也）。

Jewelled casket (寶椷: pronounced 咸 [*xián*]. The *Guangya* says: "A box is called a *xián*; it is shaped like a small chest." It takes the radical 木 'wood' with 咸 *xián* phonetic. The sūtra text writes it as 函; ancient lexicons mistakenly took 函 as non-standard).
