羸瘠（上累追反左傳羸弱也國語病也下情亦反左傳瘠瘦也說文從肉作膌古字也）。

Emaciated and gaunt (for the former [character 羸], lei + zhui fan; the *Zuo zhuan* says: "*Lei* means weak"; the *Guoyu* says: "It means diseased"; for the latter [character 瘠], qing + yi fan; the *Zuo zhuan* says: "*Ji* means thin"; the *Shuowen* writes it with 'flesh' as 膌, an ancient character).
