29.64

秉大（彼永反毛詩傳曰秉橾也賈注國語云秉執也廣雅持也說文禾束也從又持禾會意字也經文從水作秉非）。

Upholding greatness (秉大): Has the fanqie *bǐ* + *yǒng* (秉). The Mao commentary on the *Classic of Poetry* says: 'To hold.' Jia [Kui]'s commentary on the *Guoyu* says: 'To grasp.' The *Guangya* says: 'To hold.' The *Shuowen [jiezi]* says: 'A bundle of grain. Derived from 又 (hand) holding 禾 (grain); an ideographic compound.' The scripture writes it with the water radical as 抦 [or other], which is incorrect.
