[敲-高+((敝-ㄆ)-?+?)]壞（上毘袂反杜注左傳云[敲-高+((敝-ㄆ)-?+?)]困也劣也蒼頡篇極也字書敗也說文作[(敝-ㄆ)-?+?]敗衣也從巾象[敲-高+((敝-ㄆ)-?+?)]破衣也下懷瞶反𦒱聲云崩摧也說文敗也從土褱聲或作𪐢古字也聵音吾怪反）。

[敲-高+((敝-ㄆ)-?+?)]壞 (Damaged and destroyed: The upper character has the fanqie 毘袂 [bì]. Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: '[敲-高+((敝-ㄆ)-?+?)] means fatigued, inferior.' The Cangjie pian says: 'Extreme.' The character dictionaries say: 'Defeated.' The Shuowen jiezi writes it [(敝-ㄆ)-?+?], [meaning] 'torn clothes'; it is derived from 巾 [cloth] depicting torn clothing. The lower character has the fanqie 懷瞶 [huài]. The Kaosheng says: 'To collapse.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Ruined; derived from 土 [earth] with the sound 褱.' It is also written 𪐢, which is an ancient character. 聵 has the fanqie 吾怪 [kuài]).
