報怨 (repaying enmity; the former is bao/mao fan; Zheng's commentary on the Rites says: '報 means to reply'; Guangya says 'to recompense'; Gu Yewang says 'to reciprocate'; Shuowen jiezi says 'submitting to penalty; composed of 幸 and 𠬩, submitting to guilt'; the latter is yuan/yuan fan; Kaosheng says: '惌 means to hate, dislike, or act as an enemy'; Shuowen jiezi says 'bent grass covering itself; composed of 宀 with 怨 phonetic'; 宀 is pronounced mian; 𠬩 is pronounced fu).
