平坦（他但反廣雅坦平也王弼注周易云坦無險隘也說文云從土旦聲也）。

平坦 (Level and smooth: [坦 has the] fanqie 他但 [tǎn]. The Guangya says: '坦 means level.' Wang Bi's commentary on the Zhouyi says: '坦 means having no precipitous narrows.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Derived from 土 [earth] with the sound 旦.')
