魅著（眉秘反𦒱聲云神鬼為怪也說文老物精也或作[彪-虍+(十/田)]聲類作[(魅-ㄙ)-未+勿]古文作魅下持略反從草從者）。

魅著 (Demonic possession: [魅 has the] fanqie 眉秘 [mèi]. The Kaosheng says: 'Spirits and ghosts causing anomalies.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'The essence of an aged creature.' It is also written [彪-斛+(十/田)]. The Shenglei writes it [(魅-ㄙ)-未+勿], and the ancient script writes it 魅. The lower character has the fanqie 持略 [zhuó]; derived from 艸 with 者).
