度量（唐洛反下略薑反𦒱聲云量亦度也稱量也古今正字從心作𢜬從曰從童作量經作量俗字也桂苑云分多少度長短曰量也）。

Estimating and measuring (度 pronounced 唐 + 洛 fanqie; 量 below pronounced 略 + 薑 fanqie. The Kaosheng says: “'Liang' (量) also means 'to estimate' (度); it means to weigh and measure.” The Gujin zhengzi gives it with the heart radical as '𢜬'; with '曰' (say) and '童' (child) it is made as '量'. In the sūtra text it is written as '量', which is a popular form. The Guiyuan says: “Distinguishing between more and less, and measuring lengths and shorts, is called 'liang' (measuring).”)
