憒𠆴（上公外反集訓云心煩亂也說文亦亂也從心從潰省聲也下鐃効反集訓云多人擾擾也韻英云擾雜也說文從市從人會意字也或作閙俗字也經文作𡗚謬也不成字鐃音拏交反也）。

Confused and clamorous (the upper character is pronounced 公 + 外 fanqie. The Jixun says: “Agitation and confusion in mind.” The Shuowen says: “Also means disorderly. It derives from the heart radical and the phonetic '潰' abbreviated.” The lower character is pronounced 鐃 + 効 fanqie. The Jixun says: “A crowd of people bustling about in disorder.” The Yunying says: “Commotion and confusion.” The Shuowen says: “Derives from the market radical [市] and the person radical [人]; it is an ideogram.” Alternatively written as '閙', which is a popular character. In the sūtra text it is written as '𡗚', which is erroneous and does not form a character. 鐃 is pronounced 拏 + 交 fanqie.)
