Insatiable (pronounced 伊 + 閻 fanqie. The Shuowen says: “A dog sweet on meat, whose heart is never sated. It derives from '甘' [sweet], '肉' [meat], '犬' [dog], and '心' [heart].” Sometimes written as '厭' or '猒', both of which are erroneous; the form with the heart radical is correct.)
