交涉（時葉反晉灼曰涉入也漢書涉賤也說文從二水作[水*(止/少)*水]古字隸書今省去一水作涉）。

Contact and interaction (pronounced 時 + 葉 fanqie. Jin Zhuo says: “'She' (涉) means to enter into.” The Hanshu says: “'She' means cheap.” The Shuowen says: “Written in ancient characters with two water radicals as '[水*(止/少)*水]'; in clerical script today one water radical is omitted, writing it as '涉'.)
